Siriyakorn Pukkavessa, or ‘Oom’ as most people call her, graduated from Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Communication Arts in 1992. Immediately after University she landed several roles in Thai lakorn (incredibly popular soap operas). Next came thirteen illustrious years in television, stage acting, and Thai film. Her waking life was consumed by acting, yet something was missing. She wanted more personal freedom and a way to share her vision of how we ought to enjoy life. So, in 2005, she ventured out and launched her own television program, and then her own magazine. Each of these granted her opportunities to become more creative, more financially independent and her own boss. While she loved assembling and editing the content for her magazine, she felt there was still an even more suitable way to deliver her beliefs, thus her lifestyle book line was created to offer Thais access to high quality travel books and cookbooks. In addition to publishing, her main interests are farming, sustainable living, cooking, meditating and unlocking the secrets of a good life. When she’s not traveling, you’ll find her in Bangkok with her pet Chihuahua.
